The runner up in my favorite subjects is kids photography. Perhaps it's because I have two small kids of my own but the open mind of these small wonders can give very lively and fun photos that are a pleasure to make.

Perhaps my favorite type of photography is landscape photography. This is probably because I associate it with traveling and a feeling of freedom. Sadly it is also the type of photography for which the opportunities always seem to limited...

Amsterdam is literally crowded with bicycles. You see them in any shape, style and condition you can and can't imagine...
All these bicycles inspired me to start an experimental project using my lensbaby. A lensbaby is a fun lens that gives weird distortions that somehow suit all these strange bicycles well.

No hills, mountains, waterfalls, volcano's or other spectacular natural wonders within my reach without doing some serious traveling...  But at least I have the opportunity to photograph tulip fields during the spring season. I try to visit them once or twice every year and this gallery contains a small selection from my ever-growing tulip collection...
